'Microtubule Catastrophe' -- our joined submission with the Research Division of Computer Graphics (TU Wien) and the Molecular Graphics Lab at the Scripps Research Institute -- won the Jury's Award of the Image Contest at the 9th EG Workshop on Visual Computing for Biology and Medicine (VCBM 2019).

CVAST is happy to announce that Lukas Decker, bachelor student in Media Informatics and Visual Computing at TU Wien, will be joining the CVAST group for a one month internship until the end of July. All of CVAST wishes him a nice and productive stay.
On May 27, 2019 successfully defended his PhD proposal titled "Networks in Time and Space".
On April 29, 2019 successfully defended his PhD proposal titled "Spatio-Temporal Uncertainty Discovery in Cultural Heritage Data".
