Although Visual Analytics provides advanced techniques to tackle complex analysis scenarios, it still challenging for analysts to discern which VA methods to use for particular data and tasks. Guidance is hence needed to come up with reliable data analysis, visualization, and interpretations, but this is a largely uncharted territory in VA research. The aim of this project is to break new ground in the field of Visual Analytics by incorporating guidance to support users in their exploration and decision-making processes as well as in making continuous progress.
