During the opening session of the IEEE 2023 VIS Conference in Melbourne (Australia, October 22-27, 2023), the premier forum for advances in visualization and visual analytics, Silvia Miksch was honored for her outstanding technical contributions to visual analytics of time-varying data with the 2023 VGTC Visualization Technical Achievement Award.
