Regular contributions in XIMES newsletter: time-oriented information visualization

CVAST outlines in regular contributions to the XIMES newsletter different ways of visualizing time-oriented information. We started with famous examples from the past and will continue to more recent interactive information visualizations.

In the current issue we present a visualization by Étienne-Jules Marey (1830–1904) in the 1880s, which shows the train schedule for the track Paris to Lyon.
