The IEG group is happy to introduce and welcome our new colleague Peter Bodesinsky.

Peter finished his Master's thesis at the Vienna University of Technology titled:

Visual Analysis of Compliance with Clinical Guidelines

On November 6th 2013,  Dr. Wolfgang Aigner successfully defended his habilitation thesis conducted at Vienna University of Technology and titled:

We are seeking for a highly motivated PhD candidate in the field of Visual Analytics, Information Visualization, visual Data Mining and Interaction Design in the Laura Bassi Center of Expertise (LBC), Centre for Visual Analytics Science and Technology (CVAST), which is established at the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems, Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria.

In cooperation with the CSE interest group at Vienna University of Technology, we participated in the 2013 Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program to mentor students in developing open-source software in a productive quality.

Acht Laura-Bassi-Zentren gibt es inzwischen in Österreich. Sie arbeiten eng zusammen mit wichtigen Partner_innen aus Wirtschaft, Industrie und Forschung. Herausragende Leistungen und Teamorientierung prägen diese Zentren, deren Leiterinnen sowohl Forscherinnen als auch gute Managerinnen sind.
