Data Sonification

Problem

Besides the visual perception of humans that can be utilized for representing data, the human auditory system is also a highly complex perceptual system that can be used for communicating data which can be used on its own or in combination with visualization.

Aim

The goal of this work is to conduct a structured state-of-the-art overview of available approaches for data sonfication.
