Machine Learning from User Interaction in Visualization and Visual Analytics
Machine Learning is being used in Visualization and Visual Analytics to improve analysis results and helps analysts conducting their tasks.
However, a new research direction for employing machine learning is how it can support visualization.
Techniques have been developed that incorporate human-centric sensemaking processes, user-driven analytical systems, and gaining insight from data. These techniques can be applied to learn from user interaction to build intelligent visualization systems.
Your task is to find recent publications that deal with machine learning from user interaction. Your aim is to come up with a categorization of machine learning systems that build on user interactions, and how they are applied to build intelligent visualization systems and others.
