Problem

Time is an important dimension with distinctive attributes. The use of information visualization and visual analytics techniques allows users to extract patterns and trends from time-oriented data. To do so users need an interactive environment supporting them in their tasks of visually exploring, analyzing, and comparing time-oriented data. The design, development, and evaluation of such an environment is the aim of this work.

 

Aim

The design, development, and evaluation of information visualization techniques and user interfaces for the comparison of time-oriented data (events).
